The webinar organized by the TBPPM Learning Network India Chapter discussed the STEPS framework, a model designed to enhance TB elimination efforts in India's private healthcare sector. The acronym STEPS stands for "System for TB Elimination in Private Sector," and the presentation was delivered by Dr. Rakesh, the Deputy Director of Programs at the Union. The primary goal of the STEPS model is to integrate private healthcare providers into national TB control efforts, ensuring that all TB patients receive standardized care, regardless of where they are treated.
