While the UNGA is discussing the response to COVID-19, including the impact on endemic diseases like TB, we need to actively leverage the momentum. We have seen major impact in people affected by TB, as well as constraints on organizations providing TB services.  In the seven highest TB burden countries with a large private sector, 15 intermediary agencies working with private providers outline the impact of COVID-19 on their work in 2020. The constraints and the adaptations that were observed during the first year of the pandemic are key findings relevant till today.
