What challenges do you anticipate for TB programs as they transition to the 4-month treatment for Drug-Susceptible TB?
This week the TB community witnessed “the biggest shift in TB care in decades” when the results of Study 31/A5349 were presented at 51st Union World Conference on Lung Health. This Phase 3, open-label trial identified a 4-month treatment regimen with rifapentine and moxifloxacin to be as effective as the existing 6-month treatment regimen in curing drug-susceptible TB (DS-TB) disease.
But every change has its challenges..
