All healthcare providers (public and private) have seen the impact of COVID-19 on their services. As many countries move to lifting lock-downs, there is no time for complacency rather an urgent scale-up of readiness is required to meet the wave of health needs. Governments and organizations are looking for guidance on how to engage the private sector in the COVID-19 response. There are some good examples of tuberculosis programs who have engaged private providers in TB services. As we expect more people to seek care wherever they can find it close to their home and work, this is the time to push for engagement of all private providers when building back primary healthcare systems that have people at the centre.

This webinar showcases how private practices have adapted their services to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown with telemedicine, tele-consultations and various options of home-based diagnostics (x-ray), medicine delivery and treatment support. Listen to the reality on the ground In Pakistan, Nigeria/Lagos and India/ Mumbai and the lively discussion.
