The Global Fund was successfully renewed last year and is now calling for funding applications for its 2023-2025 Strategy: Fighting Pandemics and Building a Healthier and More Equitable World. Putting people and communities at the center of its agenda, the Global Fund aims to build resilient partnerships to improve global health equity and End TB. We have compiled some important resources below to help countries with their funding application.

Latest resources to Apply for Funding 
Submission Deadlines
Countries can work to amend/ extend/ formulate grant proposals and apply for these funds. The application process is done at the country level with several in-country partners collaborating in the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM). The expected submission window deadlines and subsequent Technical Review Panel meetings are listed on the left.

WHO and USAID Guide to develop a National Action Plan on PPM
This planning document is designed to facilitate the integration of strong PPM components into national TB strategic plans that are supposed to be the basis for Global Fund proposals and national budgeting processes and will help drive a more comprehensive approach to provider engagement in TB care and prevention.

Technical Brief - Private Sector engagement in service delivery
This technical brief provides guidance for 2023-2025 Allocation Period in improving the effectiveness of countries' engagement with the private sector and non-state actors with respect to service delivery. Private sector engagement will be key to maximizing the impact of programs to fight AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), malaria and to building resilient and sustainable systems for health (RSSH). This technical brief details key interventions and activities to be included in funding requests and Global Fund grants.

Please join the O’Neill Institute and Stop TB Partnership, as part of the TB AIMS Coalition, for a virtual event on TB Global Fund proposals. The TB AIMS Coalition aims to increase ambition, implementation, money, and strategy in TB proposals for the Global Fund’s Grant Cycle 7, in order to increase the scale-up of TB prevention, testing, and treatment services.
